Enoitalia, also this year, is ranked among the major players, with EUR 169 mln turnover and a growth of 14.5% over 2016.
The turnover of Italian wine companies has grown for 8 years in a row. The Mediobanca research confirms the data of the most relevant companies’ performances, with its wine business survey carried out every year, both domestically and internationally.
The overall Italian wine business shows a growth of +6.5% from last year thanks to exports (+7.7% over 2016) and domestic market (+5.6%).
The most significant growth was for Sparkling wines, thanks to exports (+12.2%) as opposed to the domestic market (+8,3%) and still wines are at + 5,5% (+7% abroad).
