The certification VIVA is the result of a journey that Enoitalia started a long time ago when the markets weren’t ready to face such issues and describes our constant work towards improvement and constant development and respect for the environment and all socio-economic aspects.
Enoitalia joined VIVA, a project of the Italian Environment Ministry for viticulture sustainability. Its main purpose is to measure and to improve sustainability performance in the Italian viticulture and wine sector.
The certification VIVA is the result of a journey that Enoitalia started a long time ago when the markets weren’t ready to face such issues and describes our constant work towards improvement and constant development and respect for the environment and all socio-economica aspects.
This is why we are proud to communicate that we believe in VIVA
VIVA is committed:
- To protect the environment, the biodiversity and the landscape, allowing the exchange of best practices.
- To promote all the socio-economic aspects related to the wine production.
- To endorse what farmers and companies are actually doing to produce high quality wine, while improving their sustainability performances.
VIVA supports a “sustainability culture” at local, national and international level by creating a multi-stakeholder system
President of Enoitalia:
“We, at Enoitalia, have always focused on the safeguard of the environment and the respect of resources as our company values. When we talk about sustainability we need to work on many levels, and for this reason we believe in the work and commitment of every single person involved, as well as the respect of rules and procedures, which are carried out every day. This sustainable approach allows a constant improvement of Enoitalia, this is why we decided to embrace the values of VIVA.
We work on a global level, therefore we feel responsible towards all those people who choose our wines every day, as we are towards our employees, stakeholders and our territory, and for the future generations. To be competitive globally, means to have the courage of embracing challenges and being examined constantly, this is why we work with International certification standards to make sure our performance is always on target. The market requires an ethical and social approach, as well as daily commitment. This is why we joined VIVA. “
